Description

Bahaar Brown is the lighter of the two colourways, with soft aqua and lilac medallions that read almost like watercolour from across the room. Pale aqua ogee medallions and lilac floral vines cover a white ground, edged with a narrow beige-gold border.

Fabric & Care

Pure cotton, nothing else. Bahaar is made in three layers of soft Muslin cotton. It is lightweight, breathable and made for comfortable everyday layering.

Bahaar is screen printed for an even, consistent finish. Crafted in India.

Styling

The pale aqua, lilac and beige palette works well against white, ivory and soft grey walls. Cane or light wood keeps it airy, and a beige upholstered headboard adds warmth. Layer with ivory, soft aqua and dusty-lilac cushions, over a plain white or pale beige bedsheet.

Gifting

Bahaar ships in a reusable cotton bag, which makes it gift-ready as it comes. A Signature gift box is available at ₹499.

A muslin dohar makes a useful choice for festivals, housewarmings and family functions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a dohar?
A dohar is a light cotton cover designed for comfortable layering without the weight of a heavy quilt. It works especially well in AC rooms, during transitional weather and for much of the year in Indian homes.
What fabric is this dohar made of?
This dohar is made from 100% pure cotton in our Premium Muslin Cotton construction. It is soft, breathable and designed as a lightweight layer for everyday comfort.
What sizes are available?
This product is currently available in:
Pair of Single Dohars — 2 dohars, 60 × 90 in each (approx. 5 × 7.5 ft)
Double Dohar — 1 dohar, 90 × 108 in (approx. 7.5 × 9 ft)
What is the difference between Pair of Single and Double?
Pair of Single gives you two separate 60 × 90 in dohars. Double gives you one 90 × 108 in dohar for a larger shared cover.
Is this dohar reversible?
Styles identified as Reversible in the product title are designed to be used on both sides, giving you two ways to style the bed. Check the product title and description for the exact construction of this design.
Is it suitable for an AC room?
Yes. Cotton dohars are designed as breathable, lightweight layers and work particularly well in air-conditioned rooms.
How should I wash and care for it?
Wash separately in cold or lukewarm water up to 30°C using mild or liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, soaking and hard scrubbing. Dry in shade and iron on low if needed.
Will the colour bleed or fade?
Wash separately for the first few washes and avoid direct sunlight while drying. If you notice a colour or quality issue, send us clear photos and your order number and we will assist you under our quality policy.
Is it suitable as a gift?
Yes. It ships in a reusable cotton bag, and a Signature gift box is available at ₹499. A cotton dohar is a useful gift for festivals, housewarmings and family occasions.
Is Cash on Delivery available, and can I return it?
Cash on Delivery is available with a ₹99 fee. You can return or exchange within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused, unwashed and in its original packaging, and reverse pickup is free.
