Description+

Warm yellow flowers with green and earthy accents sit on a soft ivory base, finished with a yellow striped reverse and coordinated edging. The quilting gives the cover texture while keeping the print bright and easy to use.

Fabric & Care+

Pure cotton, nothing else — no blends, no microfibre. Guldasta is made in Everyday Cotton using 20s cotton yarn, with quilted stitching for texture and structure. Breathable, machine washable and made to be actually used: afternoon naps, chai on the sofa, children, pets and everyday lounging.

The design is screen printed, then quilted and finished with coordinated edging or piping. Crafted in India.

Styling+

Guldasta Yellow brings warmth to a beige, cream, olive or tan sofa. Pair it with a cane or medium-wood headboard, plain ivory, mustard or sage curtains, and cream, warm-white or light-sand walls. A plain olive or rust cushion beside it will ground the yellow without making the room feel overly matched.

Gifting+

Guldasta ships in a zipper bag, which makes it gift-ready as it comes.

Cushion covers are useful home gifts that get used rather than stored, making them a thoughtful choice for festivals, anniversaries, weddings and housewarmings. They also work beautifully as return favours for family functions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is special about this cushion cover?
Warm yellow flowers with green and earthy accents sit on a soft ivory base, finished with a yellow striped reverse and coordinated edging. The quilting gives the cover texture while keeping the print bright and easy to use.
Is it quilted?
Yes. It is made in quilted Everyday Cotton, so the stitched surface adds soft texture and structure to the print.
What size is the cushion cover, and which filler should I use?
It is finished at 16 × 16 inches (approx. 41 × 41 cm). Choose a 16 × 16-inch filler for a neat fit, or an 18 × 18-inch filler for a fuller look, depending on the firmness of the filler.
What will I receive?
You will receive one cushion cover. Cushion fillers are not included.
How should I style it?
Let the colours and motifs in the print lead. Pair it with plain cushions in one of its visible tones and use it against an ivory, beige, wood, cane or neutral upholstered base so the design remains the focal layer.
Can I use it on a sofa as well as a bed?
Yes. The 16 × 16-inch size works beautifully on a sofa, armchair, reading chair or bed—on its own as an accent or layered with plain cushions.
How should I wash and care for it?
Remove the filler and wash the cover separately in cold or lukewarm water (up to 30°C) with a mild detergent. Do not bleach, use fabric softener or tumble dry. Dry in shade and iron on low if needed; wash separately for the first few washes to protect the printed colours and finish.
