Blue floral motifs repeat across an ivory base in a traditional hand block pattern, giving Himadri a cool, collected look. Hand block printed on 100% pure Everyday Cotton in 20s yarn and crafted in India.
Pure cotton, nothing else — no blends, no microfibre. Himadri is woven in thick south cotton as part of our Everyday Cotton range, in 20s cotton yarn. It is breathable, machine washable and made for everyday use.
Himadri is hand block printed by artisans using carved wooden blocks, so slight variations in placement and colour are a natural part of the technique. Crafted in India.
The blue-on-ivory palette works beautifully against white, ivory, pale grey and soft blue walls.
For the bed back or headboard, natural wood, cane, walnut and beige upholstery all work; a dark wood bed back gives the light ground stronger contrast.
Layer with navy, powder blue, ivory or muted sage cushions. Keep most cushions plain so the hand block florals remain the focus.
For the final layer, pair Himadri with a plain ivory, soft blue or sage dohar, or a very quiet stripe in the same palette.
