Description

Ochre-gold botanical motifs and small pink flowers sit on an ivory base, finished with a warm yellow border. Diamond quilting adds soft structure to Mehek without taking away from its sunny, open pattern.

Fabric & Care

Pure cotton, nothing else — no blends, no microfibre. Mehek is made in Everyday Cotton using 20s cotton yarn, with quilted stitching for texture and structure. Breathable, machine washable and made to be actually used: afternoon naps, chai on the sofa, children, pets and everyday lounging.

The design is screen printed, then quilted and finished with coordinated edging or piping. Crafted in India.

Styling

Mehek brings warmth to a cream, tan, olive or rust sofa and pairs naturally with cane, teak or beige upholstered headboards. Use plain ivory, mustard or sage curtains against warm-white, cream or light-sand walls. Repeat the pink in one small cushion or floral accent for a balanced finish.

Gifting

Mehek ships in a zipper bag, which makes it gift-ready as it comes.

Cushion covers are useful home gifts that get used rather than stored, making them a thoughtful choice for festivals, anniversaries, weddings and housewarmings. They also work beautifully as return favours for family functions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is special about this cushion cover?
Ochre-gold botanical motifs and small pink flowers sit on an ivory base, finished with a warm yellow border. Diamond quilting adds soft structure to Mehek without taking away from its sunny, open pattern.
Is it quilted?
Yes. It is made in quilted Everyday Cotton, so the stitched surface adds soft texture and structure to the print.
What size is the cushion cover, and which filler should I use?
It is finished at 16 × 16 inches (approx. 41 × 41 cm). Choose a 16 × 16-inch filler for a neat fit, or an 18 × 18-inch filler for a fuller look, depending on the firmness of the filler.
What will I receive?
You will receive one cushion cover. Cushion fillers are not included.
How should I style it?
Let the colours and motifs in the print lead. Pair it with plain cushions in one of its visible tones and use it against an ivory, beige, wood, cane or neutral upholstered base so the design remains the focal layer.
Can I use it on a sofa as well as a bed?
Yes. The 16 × 16-inch size works beautifully on a sofa, armchair, reading chair or bed—on its own as an accent or layered with plain cushions.
How should I wash and care for it?
Remove the filler and wash the cover separately in cold or lukewarm water (up to 30°C) with a mild detergent. Do not bleach, use fabric softener or tumble dry. Dry in shade and iron on low if needed; wash separately for the first few washes to protect the printed colours and finish.
