Description

Maroon and red floral clusters sit across a pale ground with a sage scallop border softening the richer colour. The chevron reverse adds a clean graphic counterpoint, giving the bed a warm, layered finish.

Fabric & Care

Pure cotton, nothing else. Rohini is made in two layers of soft Mulmul cotton with flannel filling in between. It is lightweight, breathable and fully reversible.

Rohini is screen printed for an even, consistent finish. Crafted in India.

Styling

The maroon, sage and ivory palette works naturally against white, ivory, cream and pale sage walls. For the bed back or headboard, dark wood and walnut suit the richer maroon; cane or ivory upholstery softens it. Layer with ivory, sage, deep red or muted olive cushions. Use Rohini over a plain ivory or cream bedsheet so the dohar remains the main layer. Fold it to the foot of the bed for a lighter look, or spread it fully when you want the bed to feel more layered. Reverse to the other side when you want a quieter top layer.

Gifting

Rohini ships in a reusable cotton bag, gift-ready as it comes. A Signature gift box is available at ₹499. For bulk orders, WhatsApp us on +91-9211313123.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a dohar?
A dohar is a light cotton cover designed for comfortable layering without the weight of a heavy quilt. It works especially well in AC rooms, during transitional weather and for much of the year in Indian homes.
What fabric is this dohar made of?
This dohar is made from 100% pure cotton in our reversible mulmul construction, designed to be used on both sides for two ways to style your bed.
What sizes are available?
This product is currently available in:
Pair of Single Dohars — 2 dohars, 60 × 90 in each (approx. 5 × 7.5 ft)
Double Dohar — 1 dohar, 90 × 108 in (approx. 7.5 × 9 ft)
What is the difference between Pair of Single and Double?
Pair of Single gives you two separate 60 × 90 in dohars. Double gives you one 90 × 108 in dohar for a larger shared cover.
Is this dohar reversible?
Styles identified as Reversible in the product title are designed to be used on both sides, giving you two ways to style the bed. Check the product title and description for the exact construction of this design.
Is it suitable for an AC room?
Yes. Cotton dohars are designed as breathable, lightweight layers and work particularly well in air-conditioned rooms.
How should I wash and care for it?
Wash separately in cold or lukewarm water up to 30°C using mild or liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, soaking and hard scrubbing. Dry in shade and iron on low if needed.
Will the colour bleed or fade?
Wash separately for the first few washes and avoid direct sunlight while drying. If you notice a colour or quality issue, send us clear photos and your order number and we will assist you under our quality policy.
Is it suitable as a gift?
Yes. It ships in a reusable cotton bag, and a Signature gift box is available at ₹499. A cotton dohar is a useful gift for festivals, housewarmings and family occasions.
Is Cash on Delivery available, and can I return it?
Cash on Delivery is available with a ₹99 fee. You can return or exchange within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused, unwashed and in its original packaging, and reverse pickup is free.
