Description

Surmayi Blue is the coolest of the three colourways, with a powder-blue border and a blue-grey chevron reverse. A sage vine trellis is dotted with small magenta flowers and framed by a powder-blue border, creating a lovely balance of cool and warm colour. The blue-grey chevron reverse brings a quieter graphic side to the fold.

Fabric & Care

Pure cotton, nothing else. Surmayi is made in two layers of soft Mulmul cotton with flannel filling in between. It is lightweight, breathable and fully reversible.

Surmayi is screen printed, giving the trellis, florals and reverse chevron an even, consistent finish. Crafted in India.

Styling

The powder-blue, sage and magenta palette works beautifully against white, cream, pale blue and soft grey walls. For the bed back or headboard, cane, warm wood and neutral upholstery all work; a muted teal bed back can give the lighter dohar useful contrast. Layer with powder blue, sage, ivory or navy cushions. Use Surmayi over a plain ivory, sage or soft-blue bedsheet; reverse to the blue-grey chevron when the base sheet is already patterned.

Gifting

Surmayi ships in a reusable cotton bag, which makes it gift-ready as it comes. A Signature gift box is available at ₹499.

Is it suitable for an AC room?
Yes. Cotton dohars are designed as breathable, lightweight layers and work particularly well in air-conditioned rooms.
How should I wash and care for it?
Wash separately in cold or lukewarm water up to 30°C using mild or liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, soaking and hard scrubbing. Dry in shade and iron on low if needed.
Will the colour bleed or fade?
Wash separately for the first few washes and avoid direct sunlight while drying. If you notice a colour or quality issue, send us clear photos and your order number and we will assist you under our quality policy.
